Fiona Hill will be my guest  on TSFE, to discuss her book, what it was like to work for the 45th President and the Trump White House. She is foreign policy consultant at the Brookings Institution.

A Russian expert, she holds degrees from St. Andrew’s University in Scotland and Harvard. She also studied in Moscow.

She hails from the market town of Bishop Auckland, in County Durham. 

Her father was a coal miner in County Durham and went to work in the pit when he was 14.
