G7 meets in Cornwall, England June 11-13 to co-ordinate global economic recovery.

The G7 is a group of developed global economies - UK, USA, France, Japan, Germany, Canada and Italy - which will meet 6/11 -13 to co-ordinate global economic policies post Covid pandemic. It is President Biden’s first trip abroad as President and PM Boris Johnson is hosting the event.  Leaders from India, South Korea and Australia are also attending.

Our podcast on Monday June 14 will feature Canadian Economist Trevin Stratton of the Canadian Chamber of Commerce to analyze the results of the G-7 meetings. This is the first in person meeting of so many global leaders since the start of the Covid pandemic and the global economic downturn. 

The global economy is recovering from the Covid downturn and look to the G7 to harmonize policy to keep the recovery going.
