This photo preview is a re-introduction of Emily who will be featured in our upcoming podcast January 11, 2022.  It’s also a celebration of the opening of her show at the 111 Minna Gallery on Thursday, January 13.


I first met Emily in a chance encounter one year ago. She was working on a public art installation in the West Portal neighborhood. As I admired her work in which she captured familiar local landmarks she went on to tell me about her magnum opus: a four panel mosaic which was being installed at the Harvey Mill Terminal at SFO.

Here are some close ups of the panels which are also featured in the cover art.

 

So we did our first podcast March 18,2021 with a major focus on the Harvey Milk Terminal panels . (To listen, go to The Arts in the past podcast section.) 

And since then Emily has added  cityscapes in London and New York to her collection.
