Frederick Rutland was a British double agent and a much decorated WWI war hero and ace naval flyer who helped Japan attack Pearl Harbor in 1941. The British didn’t share this intel with the Americans for fear it would jeopardize a US wartime alliance.
Frederick Rutland was a British double agent and much decorated WWI hero as well as a naval flyer ace who helped Japan to attack Pearl Harbor in 1941. He shared cutting aircraft carrier designs and aircraft technology with the Japanese during the 1920s and 1930s.
